The cGAS-STING Signaling Cascade. dsDNA (introduced by viral or extracellular origins) binds to cGAS catalyzing the synthesis of cGAMP. cGAMP upon binding ot STING transports to the Golgi where TBK1 transphosphorylation occurs.
